Went to P.S.1 Contemporary Art Museum’s Warm Up yesterday and had a fabulous time. The weather was mild for New York in August — in the 70s. The music was hit or miss — sometimes good and sometimes bad, but the venue itself was great. The camel hump looking things behind us was the art installation for the party. Each year there is something different that serves as both art form and guest function. Underneath each hump were benches for people to sit and small tubes blowing mist came out of the top, dripping cool water down below. My friend Jaycee came and met up with us and introduced us to the organizer of the party who gave us free beer tickets. A good time had by all. I’ll definitely be going back.
